Processing Operations (TTB)
Processing operations is the TTB category covering bottling, blending, and other finishing of spirits, reported on Form 5110.28. It accounts for spirits taken from storage and turned into finished products.
The processing report tracks dumping, mingling, bottling, and the resulting finished goods, reconciling proof gallons in and out. Together with the production and storage reports it forms the monthly picture the TTB expects to foot to inventory. Linking dumps and bottling runs to barrels keeps this report defensible.
