A full general ledger, accounts payable with 3-way matching, accounts receivable, purchase and sales orders, credit management, and barrel valuation are part of the platform. Cost per barrel and margin by channel are facts that tie out, not estimates from a spreadsheet, and reconciliation invariants keep the books in agreement with the rickhouse.

Matrix-driven GL and FIFO costing

Money is routed through a configurable GL matrix instead of hardcoded accounts, and aging inventory uses FIFO cost layers, so your accounting reflects how spirits actually move and mature. Hundreds of automated reconciliation checks verify that GL inventory asset equals the sum of barrel cost basis, so the ERP's numbers are provable rather than asserted.

The distillery layer that feeds corporate ERP, not a rip-and-replace

Spirit Sight handles US TTB operational reports and excise natively, and for a distillerie in the UK or EU it also produces the HMRC W-return and EU EMCS duty-suspended movements, with quantities in LPA, duty points, and valid ARCs alongside proof gallons. That makes it a rare distillery ERP that runs both a US DSP and a European duty operation on the same data model.
