Spirit Intelligence

Plenty of distillers are rightly skeptical of AI. Spirit Intelligence is built for that skepticism: the platform's numbers are deterministic and guarded by hundreds of automated reconciliation checks, and the intelligence layer sits on top to explain, predict, and prioritize, never to act on regulated data. It is trained on your own distillery's tastings, regauges, and environmental history, on your own install, and it is a capability you can adopt when ready. We build it an hour from the rickhouses it models, in Lexington, Kentucky.

In short: Spirit Intelligence is the AI layer of Spirit Sight: a Virtual Master Distiller that predicts per-barrel flavor development, a morning Daily Brief written from your own data, anomaly detection across environment and books, and maturation and demand forecasting. It explains and prioritizes; it never files, posts, or blends on its own. Every underlying number stays deterministic and reconciliation-checked.

Deterministic first, intelligent second

Every proof gallon, dollar, and TTB line in Spirit Sight is computed deterministically and verified by automated reconciliation checks that fail if any figure drifts. Spirit Intelligence reads those verified numbers and adds judgment on top: what changed, what needs attention, what is likely to happen next. AI never writes to the ledger, never files a form, and never moves spirit. If you turn every intelligent feature off, the platform still runs your distillery completely.

The Virtual Master Distiller

The Virtual Master Distiller learns from your own tasting records, regauges, and per-barrel environment to predict how each barrel's flavor profile is developing: caramel, vanilla, oak, spice, fruit, smoke, leather, and honey, with a readiness assessment and a recommended window. It is your master distiller's judgment, scaled across tens of thousands of barrels, never replaced. The predictions live beside the human tasting journal so the palate on the floor always outranks the model.

The AI Daily Brief

Every morning the Daily Brief reads yesterday's activity, the live alert queue, upcoming TTB filings, cash position, and what the automations handled, and writes a plain-language briefing grounded in those facts alone. It is supervised and read-only: it drafts words, not actions. The owner starts the day knowing exactly where to look first, without opening six modules to find out.

Anomaly detection and forecasting

Intelligence watches for the things a busy operation misses: an environmental drift that will cost proof gallons, a loss rate out of family with a rickhouse's history, a cost that moved when nothing should have. Forecasting extends the same discipline forward, projecting maturation and angel's share, demand, working capital, and tax liability from your measured history rather than industry averages.

Organized as modules, priced as one platform

Spirit Sight is built modularly: inventory, production, compliance, financials, warehousing, and intelligence are self-contained pieces on one shared data model, so a distillery can adopt the platform a piece at a time next to systems it already runs. Modularity is how the platform is organized, not how it is priced: everything is included at one flat price, and you switch on what you need, when you need it.

Your data, your install, your rules

Spirit Intelligence runs against your own operation's data on your own installation, on-premise if you choose. Nothing about your barrels, recipes, or books trains anyone else's model. For a craft in Kentucky, the team that built it is in Lexington and can sit across the table; there is no overseas ticket queue between you and an answer.

FAQ

Frequently asked

Do I have to use AI to use Spirit Sight?
No. Every number in the platform is computed deterministically and stands on its own. Spirit Intelligence is a layer you can adopt when ready; with it off, nothing about production, compliance, or accounting is diminished.
Does AI touch my TTB filings or my books?
No. AI explains, predicts, and prioritizes. TTB forms are generated deterministically from recorded activity and filed by a human; the general ledger is posted by rule-driven accounting logic. Nothing autonomous acts on regulated data.
What data is the Virtual Master Distiller trained on?
Your own distillery's tasting records, regauges, and environmental history, on your own installation. Your barrels and recipes do not train anyone else's model.
What does the AI Daily Brief actually do?
Each morning it reads yesterday's activity, active alerts, upcoming filings, and cash position from the database and writes a short plain-language briefing. It is read-only and grounded in your facts; it never invents numbers or takes actions.
Can Spirit Intelligence run on-premise?
Yes. The platform ships as an on-premise install, and the intelligence layer respects that boundary. Licensing controls which AI capabilities are enabled.
