Single Barrel

A single-barrel whiskey is bottled from one individual barrel rather than blended from many, so each batch reflects the character of that one cask.

Single-barrel releases highlight the natural variation between barrels, even those filled the same day from the same mashbill. They depend on per-barrel records, including fill, regauge, and dump data, so the exact yield and proof of each bottling are known and traceable back to the cask.
